Hong Kong – Protests

I don’t know if you’ve seen the video on the Fake News. Almost 2 million of the 7 million residents took to the streets in non-violent protest over a proposed law that would allow the local government to extradite people to mainland China. First, I would not like being subjected to the murky criminal process on the mainland of China. Second, that is nearly 30% of the population.

That is because the residents of Hong Kong enjoy some measure of freedom inherited from the UK when they were under British Rule. (Sound familiar, at least for now)
